Getting things up to date...

We FINALLY got all of my girls in for their bridesmaids dress fittings! I am so excited & relieved! NO, the dresses that the girls are trying on are NOT the bridesmaids dresses that I picked out. They did not have dresses in their sizes, so they had to try on another dress in the same brand. I hate that I wasn't able to be there when Robin & Catie went, but at least it got done! Thanks girls!!

Robin = Bridesmaid!!

I am so EXCITED!! One of my favorite people in the ENTIRE world (my cousin) is going to be one of MY bridesmaids!! Thanks Robin!!

Wedding invitation & the wording for it....

Wow! It took me a little while to figure out exactly what I wanted the invitation to say even though the wording seems so simple. First off, Jody told me he wanted a more traditional style of invitation...no, not the old school style with the bride & groom on the front or anything like that, but just a more classy style of invitation. I had wanted a more modern style invitation with bright colors, but when I started looking through some of the invitation books that mom had ordered, I really started to like the more simple, clean lines, classy looking invitations. We have picked out a very nice invitation and the wording is going to look b-e-a-utiful! I haven't decided if im going to post any pics of this yet, but just in case I do, check back tomorrow!!

Something Borrowed!

Catie, one of my bridesmaids and I went shopping at Hobby Lobby a while back to look for wedding decorations and while we were there I was mentioning to her about the shoes that I had picked out at David's Bridal (I had not purchased them yet), but I had even gotten mom to check the internet to see if we might find a better deal on them. Catie starts saying that she has some shoes that I could wear if I liked them, so were going to the car and she starts digging in the trunk and pulls out the EXACT SAME style of shoe that I had picked out! So needless to say, I have my something borrowed! Amazing! Thanks Catie!

Bridesmaids Dresses!!

I LOVE THESE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES!!! I am most likely having one Maid of Honor, two Bridesmaids & one Junior Bridesmaid. Only one of my girls got to go with me to pick out the dresses due to work & school conflicts, but I am positive that all the girls will look absolutely stunning in them! Now I just have to figure out what jewelery and shoes they'll wear! It's so exciting to be able to dress up all my girls! :D

My very first blog post!!

Ok, so with this being my very first blog post ever, please bare with me! Im gonna try to make this fun for all of us and keep it updated regularly so that our friends and family can know how the wedding planning is progressing! If you don't already know, Im Tracy. I will be the one doing all of the posting and updating for this wedding blog. I would like to thank God first for allowing us this special time in our lives, although slightly stressful, it is sooo worth it. Secondly, I would like to thank my mother for all of her help and patience. I know that I have put her through a lot over the years, and yet she never fails to be there for me when I need her. I am so thankful for that everyday! I love you so much mom! I appreciate everyones suggestions and ideas & as we pick out the details for the wedding I will be sure to post them as quick as possible! Please check in often! I would love to hear your pros and cons on the things that I post here!

If you haven't guessed, yes, this is myself & my fiance in the picture! This picture was taken on the day we got engaged & was the last picture taken of us before we got engaged! I think this is my favorite picture of us so far! I love me some Jody!
